Hahnenbusch is a hamlet belonging to the Bretzfeld district of Adolzfurt in Hohenlohekreis in northern Baden-Württemberg .
Geographical location
The place with about half a dozen house numbers is, almost completely surrounded by fields, at around 245 m above sea level. NHN on the left slope of the Bernbach , which flows into the Brettach half a kilometer further north . The houses in and on the edge of a former excavation pit are traversed by the road from Scheppach in the northwest to Unterheimbach in the south-southeast. The next place is the small Wiesental residential area at the Bernbach estuary. The hamlet, located in a long foothill of the Adolzfurt district marking, is less than two kilometers away from the center of Adolzfurt as the crow flies.
history
The hamlet southeast of Adolzfurt was mentioned as Heimenbusch in 1447 and originally belonged to Heimberg Castle and later to the community of Scheppach. A brick factory was mentioned in 1573 . In 1686 an Erbzinshof in Hahnenbusch was owned by the Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst family . In 1699 the place was called Haanbusch . In the 19th century the place came from Scheppach to the municipality of Adolzfurt. In 1865 the place was inhabited by three families.
