The Hahnenkamm rises above Kitzbühel at a height of 1712  m above sea level. A. The actually highest point on the Hahnenkamm is the Ehrenbachhöhe with a height of 1802  m above sea level. A.

The Hahnenkamm is part of the Kitzbühel ski area and the venue for the annual Hahnenkamm race . The most famous ski slope on the Hahnenkamm is the Streif , which is considered to be one of the most dangerous and feared racing slopes in the world.

On its advance, the Schattberg , are the Schattbergschanzen , the legendary ski jumps of the pre- and interwar period.
