Haimo Liebich

Haimo Liebich (* 1945 in Haimhausen ) is a German culture and museum educator.

Life

Haimo Liebich works and lives in Munich . He is married to the social pedagogue and non-fiction author Daniela Liebich and has two daughters. Liebich grew up in Dachau ; He studied at the Philosophical Faculty of the LMU Munich (arts, sociology, pedagogy and political science).

He was a co-founder and later also a board member of the Pedagogical Action eV and since 1975 he has been involved in the development and management of the children's and youth museum in Munich. He is also a founding member and curator of the MPZ ( Museum Pedagogical Center Munich ), co-founder of the AG Museum Pedagogy Bavaria and the LAG SPUK (Play and Culture Pedagogy Bavaria), member of the board of the Bavarian Cultural Political Society and the German Children's Fund . Liebich has been an SPD member since 1969 and an honorary member of the Munich City Council since 1990.
