Haine Brigade was a French punk band from Lyon that was formed in late 1981 and disbanded in 1989. The band was inspired by The Clash , the Sex Pistols , but above all by the anarcho-punk band Crass . Haine Brigade saw itself as a political punk band from the start and was involved in the autonomous scene .

style

The music of Haine Brigade is mainly characterized by the singing of Alexa and Laurent, which was very diverse and melodious for punk standards and reminded of French chansons in places . Pierre-Yves' saxophone playing is also characteristic. Singing and saxophone meet fast, energetic punk rock. Haine Brigade's music has some similarities with early emocore and melodic hardcore .
