Hakan Çavuşoğlu (born February 26, 1972 in Komotini , Greece ) is a Turkish politician of the Justice and Recovery Party (AKP) and was Deputy Prime Minister in the cabinet of Binali Yıldırım from July 2017 to July 2018 .

Life

Çavuşoğlu worked as a lawyer after graduating from Ankara University . Since the parliamentary elections in 2011 , he has represented Bursa as a member of the AKP in the Turkish parliament . On July 19, 2017, he was introduced as Deputy Prime Minister in the course of a cabinet change.

In addition to Greek , he speaks English and Arabic . Çavuşoğlu is married and has two children.
