Dennis Lloyd (born June 18, 1993 , real name Nir Tibor ) is an Israeli musician .

Career

Lloyd grew up in Ramat Aviv . He already began to be musically active in his school days. Among other things, he learned to play the trumpet and guitar . He then attended Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts .

Lloyd released his first single Playa (Say That) in 2015. He then spent a year in Bangkok ( Thailand ). He used this time to write more than 40 songs. In June 2017 remixed it his own, two months previously published song Nevermind (Alright) in deep house style, it was Nevermind . This song was successful on Spotify , but Lloyd only found out about it when several magazines and record labels called him, as Spotify is relatively unknown in Israel.

Nevermind entered the Italian music charts in November 2017 and reached number 28. A remix of Wankelmut zu Nevermind was released in February 2018. In March 2018 the song became a worldwide success on Spotify . The song reached the top 20 on the Spotify charts in various countries. Then the song was able to enter the charts in all three German-speaking countries.

In May and June 2018, Lloyd completed its first international MTFKR tour through Central Europe and North America.

He chose his stage name because he wanted to give the audience the feeling that they had heard the name before.
