The alpine pasture Hala Kopy Sołtysie (German: the Alm der Schultheisshügel) is an alpine pasture on the slopes of the peaks of the Kopy Sołtysie in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship .

history

The alpine pasture was established in the 17th century and was in operation until the Tatra National Park was founded in 1954. The owners were expropriated in 1961. Since cattle farming was stopped, the alpine pasture has grown over with coniferous forest.
