House Halberstädter Strasse 26a

The house Halberstädter Straße 26a is a listed building in the Magdeburg district of Sudenburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the north side of Halberstädter Straße, which is bridged immediately to the east of the house by the Magdeburger Ring city motorway . To the west of the building is the Magdeburger Ring exit that joins Halberstädter Strasse.

Architecture and history

The simply designed two-story half - timbered house was built in the second half of the 19th century on what was then the arterial road. There is an oriel crowned by a gable at the house . Particularly noteworthy is the two-storey polygonal bay on the southwest corner . A one-and-a-half-storey porch was added to the building facing the street, but it does not fit into the historical fabric of the building and is seen as distorting.

The house is considered a building in the style of the rayon houses from the time before the development of the area during the Wilhelminian period .

The villa is listed in the local monument register under registration number 094 81963 as a monument .
