Erich Müller-Kamp
Erich Müller-Kamp (actually Erich Müller , pseudonym Matthias Pförtner ; born November 27, 1897 in Bad Liebenwerda ; † September 19, 1980 ) was a German writer, translator and editor.
Live and act
Erich Müller attended the Pforta State School . He took part in the First World War. Müller studied German, art history and Slavic philology. He received his doctorate as Dr. phil . From 1926 he published on the Russian cultural and adventure area. In 1929 Müller traveled through the Soviet Union . The doctor of literature was a lecturer in German literary history in Moscow from 1930 to 1935 . He was arrested there in 1935 and expelled to Germany in 1936. After the Second World War , Müller lived in Bonn . Müller was a lecturer at the German School of Booksellers .
Some of his correspondence is preserved with Albert Bauer , Walter Bauer , Oskar Maria Graf , Paul Gurk , Kurt Kläber , Arthur Luther , Gerhart Pohl , Aleksis Rannit , Friedrich Reck-Malleczewen , Hans Werner Richter , Otto Rombach , Ernst Schnabel , Siegfried von , among others Vegesack and Reinhold von Walter .
