It is located on the northwest side of Halberstädter Straße in the Magdeburg district of Sudenburg in a corner at the confluence of Klausener Straße.
Architecture and history
The four-storey residential and commercial building was built in the late 19th century. The representative building was built as a brick building in the neo-baroque style. The corner situation is emphasized by a corner bay in front of the upper floors, which was originally probably crowned. On the corner of the ground floor there is an entrance to a shop located there. There is also a three-storey polygonal bay facing Klausenerstraße . Further facade elements are pilaster- reminiscent pilaster strips , arched windows and triangular and segmented arch gables above window openings. In addition, there are stucco decorations with floral and ornamental motifs.
In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is listed under registration number 094 81973 as a monument .
The building represents the top of a row of streets from the Wilhelminian era and is considered to be significant in terms of urban development.
