Halil Akıncı
Halil Akıncı (born December 9, 1945 in Ula (Muğla) ) is a former Turkish diplomat .
Life
From 1998 to 2002 he was ambassador to Ljubljana . From September 18, 2008 to October 18, 2010 he was ambassador to Moscow . From February 1, 2006 to April 30, 2008, he was ambassador to New Delhi . From September 16, 2010 to 2013, he was General Secretary of the Turkish Council . He formulated a Turkish policy for the Black Sea region :
- contribute to the consolidation of state building,
- support political and economic reforms,
- promote the international economic integration of the states of the Black Sea region.
- Develop bilateral and relationships based on equality, mutual interest and respect of sovereignty.
