Eucalyptus Tunnel in Ula (Turkey) District

Ula is a county seat and a district in the Turkish province of Muğla . The district is located in the center of the province on the Mediterranean Sea . Since a regional reform in 2013, the district ( İlçe ) is identical in area to the municipality ( Belediye ), so both have the same population of 23,418 (2013).

In addition to the city of Ula, there were two other municipalities and 23 villages in the district, which are now districts ( Mahalle ) of the district town.
