Haltlos - No Second Opportunity (international title: Haltlos - Losing Ground ) is a German short film from the film year 2010 .

action

A young man wakes up in a dark library. Confused and disoriented, he tries to understand his situation and meets a woman. She also fell asleep briefly and so they were both locked in the building.

They approach each other timidly. But something seems to be wrong in this place and both of them are irritated. As the situation becomes increasingly surreal, the boundaries between dream and reality become clear. He becomes aware of what seems to be wrong and that he has done something terrible.

In restrained, almost wordless scenes, the film tells the last moments in the life of a gunman with dreamy images - between the abyss and hope.
