Hamad A. Al-Majed ( Arabic حمد بن عبد الله الماجد) is a Sunni Islamic theologian , educationalist and editor trained initially in Saudi Arabia and later in the United States and England .

Life

He worked for a long time at the London Central Mosque and the Islamic Center in Regent's Park in London . He is a representative of Islam in the nine-member directorate of the King Abdullah Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) in Vienna .

He received his BA in Islamic Studies from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh and his M.Ed. -Degree from California State University, Fresno . He later worked on his dissertation (1996) at the University of Hull in the UK . He is a member of the Faculty of Education at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.

He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the British Muslim Heritage Center , editor in chief in London published magazine Islamic Quarterly (1996-2001), Director General of the Islamic Cultural Center in Regent's Park in London (1996-2001), he is also a founding member of the National Society for Human Rights in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .

Other positions he has held include chairing the Islamic Schools in Manchester and the Islamic Cultural Center in Exeter .
