Hamid Jafari (born October 12, 2000 in Qom ) is an Afghan kickboxer . He is the world champion of amateurs in the weight class up to 60 kg in the WKU world association .

Life

During the war in Afghanistan, Jafari's family emigrated to an Afghan refugee camp in Iran, where he was born. He started kickboxing at the age of five. At the age of 12 he became a member of the kickboxers of the Afghan refugees in Iran. In 2015 he fled to Germany. Since the beginning of 2016 he has been living in a refugee shelter in Lehrte.
