German Martellotto

Germán Ricardo Martellotto Rolfo (born November 6, 1962 in Córdoba ), also known by the nickname El Tato , is a former Argentine soccer player who mainly played in midfield .

career

Martellotto began his career at his hometown club CA Belgrano , where he worked in stages from 1984 to 1987. In the meantime he played in 1985 for Rosario Central and then for Deportivo Español .

His first assignment abroad was the Colombian club Deportivo Cali , with which he was under contract in 1989 and 1990. He then moved to Mexico , where he was employed by CF Monterrey in the 1990/91 and 1991/92 seasons . In the 1991/92 season he won the Mexican Cup competition with the Rayados . He then played in Mexico for the capital club Club America , with which he won the CONCACAF Champions' Cup in the 1992/93 season . After leaving America in the winter of 1994/95, he worked for CF Pachuca , which is also based in Mexico , before returning to Argentina and ending his active career in 1996/97 with his former club Deportivo Español.

During his engagement with CF Monterrey, Martellotto completed his only international match for the Argentine national football team in 1991 .
