The Hamilton River is a river in the west of the Australian state of Queensland . It does not have water all year round.

River course

The river has its source in the eastern part of the Selwyn Range and flows south. At the ghost town of Hamilton it crosses the Min Min Way and flows into the Georgina River about 25 km northeast of Breadalbane .
