The Hammarby Talang Fotbollförening , often with Hammarby Talang FF or Hammarby TFF abbreviated, is a Swedish football club from Stockholm . Founded in 2002 as a farm team by Hammarby IF , the club currently plays in third-rate Division 1 .
history
At the beginning of 2002, the then first division club Hammarby IF initiated the foundation of another club to give its young players the opportunity to be introduced to professional football in competitive matches. In addition, the club signed an agreement with the fifth division Pröpa SK , whose squad was initially supplemented with young players from Hammarby IF. At the end of the year, the new club took over alongside the squad, the starting position of the team that had been promoted to the fourth division as the season winner of Division 4 Stockholm Mellersta .
Under the new name Hammarby TFF, the club occupied the last non-relegation place in its fourth division season in the 2003 season, before the march through to the third division was managed in the following year as the season winner before Arameiska / Syrianska KIF . Here the team fell victim to a league reform and had to relegate straight back as eighth of the season in Östra Svealand . In the fourth division, the club initially placed in the lower division and managed in the 2007 season only due to the away goals rule in the relegation games against Huddinge IF the relegation. In the following two seasons, the team returned to the promotion race and rose in 2009 with 16 wins from 22 games as the relay winner in Division 1.
Since Hammarby TFF is an independent club that only has a cooperation agreement with Hammarby IF and does not act as a reserve team for the Stockholm club, it is possible to play in the same league.
