The Hammarryggen ( Norwegian for Hammergrat ) is a press ice ridge on the Princess Ragnhild coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises up between the Muninisen and the Jotneisen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 2016. It is named after the war hammer of the god Thor from Norse mythology .
