history
Originally built in 1860 as a wool processing facility, the factory site located directly on the Bära was converted in 1935 into a metal processing company for drop forging . In 1953, the factory site was bought by the current owners and renamed Hammerwerk Fridingen GmbH .
Over the years, the company premises have been expanded to include the shears hall, mechanical processing, press shop 2 and a training workshop. In 2005 the subsidiary HF-Czechforge sro was founded in Cheb in the Czech Republic .
