The Hamner Nunatak is a 1620 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 8 km west-northwest of Wise Peak and west of the Warren Range .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1964 after the American biologist Karl Clemens Hamner (1908-1989) from the University of California, Los Angeles , who worked at the McMurdo station from 1960 to 1961 .
