Hamza Gezmiş (born May 9, 1979 in Borçka ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Gezmiş started club football in his hometown in the youth of Trabzon Tütünspor . In the summer of 1999 he moved to the then third division club Akçaabat Sebatspor . In the summer of 2000 he rose with his team as runner-up in the TFF 2nd Lig in the TFF 1st Lig . He spent the 2000/01 season as a loan player with third division club Bulancakspor . A year later he returned to Sebatspor. In the summer of 2003 he rose with the club as third place in the TFF 1st Lig in the Süper Lig .

After two seasons in the Süper Lig with Sebatspor, he moved to İstanbulspor in the summer . He stayed here for a year and then moved to Orduspor . He also stayed at Orduspor for a year and moved on to the second division team Sakaryaspor in the summer of 2007 . There he played for two years and moved back to Orduspor in the spring of 2009. In the summer of the same year he left Orduspor and went to league rivals Kartalspor .

After his contract with Kartalspor expired in the summer of 2012, he left this club and switched to league rivals Göztepe Izmir . After half a year he left Göztepe and moved to Şanlıurfaspor within the league .
