The Hanauer Fußballgesellschaft 1899 was a short-lived football club in the German Empire with its headquarters in what is now the Hessian city of Hanau , which was one of the founding members of the DFB .
history
Not much is known about the FG's gaming operations. At the founding meeting of the DFB on January 28, 1900, the club was represented by Albert Warmser , who also carried out this post for FC Viktoria 1894 Hanau . From October 21 of the same year a friendly game against FC Victoria from Frankfurt is known, which was lost 3-1. It is certain that the club took part in the South German championship in the 1902/03 season , but lost to Viktoria Hanau 3-0 in the regional preliminary round . What later happened to the club is no longer known. Probably the club was dissolved a short time later.
