The TS Großburgwedel (Turnerschaft Großburgwedel) is a sports club from Großburgwedel .

In 2011 the association had 2,906 members, including 1,185 children and young people and 1,721 adults.

Departments

The club, which was founded in 1912, offers gymnastics, canoeing, athletics, badminton, ballet, basketball, bounce ball, cheerleading, cycling, recreational sports, skiing, gymnastics, dance, handball, cardiac sports, volleyball, inline driving, walking, judo and football Jutsu on.

Handball

The handball department has eleven teams. The first men's team achieved promotion to the 3rd division in 2011 . The home arena is the sports hall on the Ramhorst.

From the 2016/2017 season, TSG will form a handball community in Burgwedel with the newly founded Handball Hannover-Burgwedel (HHB) club, with the aim of having the third division handball players play under the HHB label from 2017.
