The Heilbronn-Franken Chamber of Crafts, based in Heilbronn, is one of 53 chambers of crafts in the Federal Republic of Germany.

It was founded in 1900 on the basis of the Craftsmen Act of July 26, 1897, has around 12,000 member companies and represents the interests of the craft in the Heilbronn district as well as in the Heilbronn and Schwäbisch Hall districts , in the Hohenlohe district and in the Main-Tauber district . The Chamber of Crafts is a corporation under public law to which the state has delegated sovereign tasks, such as regulating the examination system.

Essentially, the area of ​​responsibility of the Chamber of Crafts can be divided into three major areas: it represents the interests of all craftsmen in the region in politics and the public. The chamber's advice concerns the areas of labor law, funding programs and environmental protection. The Chamber of Crafts organizes courses and seminars for basic and advanced training.

With the education and technology center in the Böllinger Höfe, the Heilbronn-Franken Chamber of Crafts has a training center in the field of renewable energies, new technologies and in the commercial field.

The highest decision-making body of the Chamber of Crafts is the general assembly. It is the parliament for the crafts of the Heilbronn-Franken region .

The general assembly makes decisions about the business plan, the contributions and the annual accounts. It also defines the basic tasks of the Chamber of Crafts. The general assembly is elected by the members of the Chamber of Crafts for five years. The president, the vice-presidents and the other board members are elected from among their ranks.

The plenary assembly is composed of representatives of the craft and craft-like trades in the chamber district. It consists of 36 members, including 24 self-employed craftsmen and 12 employees .
