Hani shaker
Hani Shaker ( Arabic هاني شاكر, DMG Hānī Šākir ; * December 21, 1952 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian singer and actor.
Shaker began playing the piano during his school days and attended the Cairo Conservatory in the early 1970s. In 1972 he made his debut with Mohamed El-Mougi's song Helwa ya Dona . He became a member of Abdel Halim Hafez 'choir and appeared there in the songs Soura and Bel Ahdan . In total, he recorded more than 400 songs, which Yehia El-Mougi , Baligh Hamdi , Amar El-Shereei and Mounir Murad wrote for him.
In 1966 he played the title role in Ahmed Badrakhan's film Sayed Darwish . 2015-16 he was chairman of the Egyptian Musicians' Association. For his services to music in the Arab world, he was awarded the culture medal by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in 2017 .
