HannStar Display Corporation ( Chinese 瀚宇 彩晶 , Pinyin Hànyǔ cǎijīng ) is a Taipei , Taiwan- based electronics manufacturer specializing in monitor panels. HannStar has been listed on the stock exchange since 2001 and is involved in the market under the brand names HannStar ( LCD monitors), HannSpree ( LCD monitors , tablet computers and televisions ) and HannsG ( gaming monitors). HannStar's customers are Sony , JVC , Panasonic , Sharp , Toshiba , Dell , HP and Samsung .
HANNspree
HANNspree was founded in July 2002, has 300 employees (as of March 31, 2007) and is headquartered in Taipei as well as branches in Europe and the USA. HANNspree produces TV sets, monitors, tablet PCs, laptops and digital picture frames. The name Hannspree is a combination of the Chinese word Hann ("universal") and the English term spree ("fun").
HANNspree is sponsor of the Superbike World Championship as well as title sponsor of the Ten Kate Honda team there. HANNspree is also one of the main sponsors of the American Basketball League NBA .
Hanns.G
Hanns.G is HANNspree's LCD monitor brand, manufactures screens from 18 to 28 inches and, like HANNspree, sponsors the Ten Kate Honda team at the Superbike World Championship .
