Hanna Katrín Friðriksson

Hanna Katrín Friðriksson (born August 4, 1964 in Paris ) is an Icelandic politician ( Viðreisn ).

Hanna Katrín Friðriksson worked as a journalist at Morgunblaðið from 1990 to 1999 . In 1999 she graduated from the University of Iceland their Bachelor Accounts in philosophy and economics and in 2001 at the University of California, Davis a Master of Business Administration . Afterwards she was a lecturer at the University of Reykjavík and at the University of Bifröst . From 2007 to 2009 she was assistant to the Icelandic Minister of Health. Since 2010 she has been in the management of the drug distribution company Icepharma .

In the parliamentary elections on October 29, 2016 , Hanna Katrín Friðriksson was elected as Viðreisn's candidate for the Reykjavík-Süd constituency in the Icelandic parliament Althing . As of September 2017, she is the group leader of Viðreisn. She is a member of the parliamentary committees for budget and business affairs and is the head of the Icelandic delegation to the parliamentary committees of the EFTA and EEA countries as well as a member of the joint EU- Iceland parliamentary committee .
