The Mylna Turnia is a mountain in the High Tatras, with a height of 2110 m npm and is located in Poland in the Malopolska province , district Tatra County and Municipal Zakopane .
Location and surroundings
The summit lies on the Grań Kościelców ridge , which branches off west of the Norgrat of the Świnica into the Dolina Gąsienicowa valley .
Below the summit lie two valleys, the Dolina Zielona Gąsienicowa in the south and Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa in the north.
From the summit of Mylna Kopa in the west, Mylna Turnia is separated by the Pośrednie Mylne Wrótka mountain pass and from the summit of Zawratowa Turnia by the Mylna Przełęcz mountain pass .
etymology
The name Mylna Turnia is derived from the nearby valley of Mylna Kotlinka and can be translated as crazy tower .

tourism
The summit is very popular with climbers because of the panorama from its summit. Climbers can get to the top of Mylna Turnia in a number of ways . They are considered difficult. There are no marked hiking trails leading to the summit. The Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec mountain hut is a suitable starting point for climbing the Mylna Turnia .
