The Irr Koppe ( Polish Mylna Kopa ) is a mountain in the High Tatras with an altitude of 2162 m npm and is located in Poland in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship , Powiat Tatrzański district and Zakopane municipality .
Location and surroundings
The summit is on the Kepellengrat , which branches off west of the Norgrat of the Seealmspitze into the Seealmtal .
Below the summit lie two valleys, the Dolina Zielona Gąsienicowa in the south and Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa in the north.
From the summit of the Irr Tower ( Mlyna Turnia ) in the south the Irr Koppe is separated by the Middle Irr Törl ( Pośrednie Mylne Wrótka ) and from the summit of the Rear Polish Chapel ( Zadni Kościelec ) by the mountain pass Oberes Irr Törl ( Wyżnie Mylne Wrótka ).
etymology
The Polish as well as the German name derives from the nearby valley of the maze ( Mylna Kotlinka ).

The first ascent took place:
- Summer: Zygmunt Klemensiewicz and Roman Kordys on July 11, 1906.
tourism
The summit is very popular with climbers because of the panorama from its summit. Climbers can get to the top of Mylna Kopa in a number of ways . They are considered difficult. There are no marked hiking trails leading to the summit. The Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec mountain hut is a suitable starting point for climbing Zasni Kościelec .
