Gengkim

Dschingkim (also spelled Jingim, Chinkim, Chin-gis; mongol . : Чингим / Chingim; chin . : Zhenjin, 真 金) (* 1243 ; † January 5, 1286 ) was the son of Kublai Khan and his second main wife Chabi . As crown prince of the Mongolian khanate , he played an important role at the Kublais court and in the war with the Song dynasty between 1267 and 1279. He was married to Kökejin and fathered his three sons Timur Khan , Gammala and Darmabala with her . As a result of the untimely death of his father in 1286, his son Timur Khan took over the khanate in the form of the Chinese emperor during the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368) after the death of Kublai Khan in 1294 .
