Hanna Volodymyriwna Onyshchenko ( Ukrainian Ганна Володимирівна Онищенко , born October 15, 1984 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian lawyer and politician of the Popular Front party . From December 2, 2014 to April 14, 2016, she was Minister in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine .

biography

Hanna Onyschtschenko graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev in 2007 with a degree in law . In 2011 she was officially admitted to the bar . From 2004 to March 2014 she worked as a legal advisor and head of several companies in Kiev.

In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2012 Onyshchenko was on list number 151 of the All-Ukrainian Association "Fatherland" . In August 2013 Onyshchenko represented Arseniy Yatsenjuk at a court hearing at which he was accused of "provocations" against Andrij Kljujew , then Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine , on May 18, 2013 as part of his "Stand up, Ukraine ! ”Is said to have committed. Onyshchenko lost this trial.

After the events of the Euromaidan , she started working for the new government . From March to May 2014 she was the Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine. She later joined the Popular Front Party .

In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2014 Onyshchenko was in 58th place in the list of her party. On December 2, 2014, she was appointed Minister in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of the new government . At 30, she was the youngest cabinet minister. Her term of office as minister ended on April 14, 2016 after a cabinet reshuffle.
