Hanna Schörken

Hanna Schörken (* 1985 in Duisburg ) is a singer in the field of freely improvised music , jazz and electronic music.

Schörken first studied English and French literature at the University of Bonn . From 2008 to 2011 she studied jazz singing at the ArtEZ Conservatorium in Enschede and continued her studies at the Institute for Music in Osnabrück and at the Conservatoire de Lyon.

Schörken worked for example with Jozef Dumoulin , Natalie Sandtorv , Nicola Hein , Paul Hubweber from the field of improvised music.

Her debut album Filán was released in October 2016 on the Swiss jazz label Unit Records , which she recorded in March 2016 with Constantin Krahmer, Stefan Rey and Thomas Esch in the Cologne loft .
