Hannah Beachler

Hannah Beachler (* in the 20th century in Centerville , Ohio ) is an American production designer .

Hannah Beachler is the daughter of an architect and an interior designer. She first studied fashion design at the University of Cincinnati , then she completed a film degree at Wright State University in Dayton . Her first major film was Fruitvale Station , where she worked on a shoestring budget for director Ryan Coogler . She designed the gym and boxing ring for the Rocky film Creed .

With a budget of millions and several hundred employees, Black Panther was their biggest project. Inspired by a previous trip to South Africa, she designed a completely Afro-futuristic science fiction world. For this work she has received a number of film awards, including the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award , the Saturn Award and the Critics' Choice Movie Award , as well as the Oscar for Best Production Design .
