Wright State University

The Wright State University (WSU) is a public university in Dayton in the US state of Ohio . The university was founded in 1964. There are currently 17,074 students enrolled.

history

Wright State University is legally located in the city of Fairborn , but has a Dayton address. The Fairborn Police, however, are responsible for the university. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is also located in Fairborn , an airfield where the Wright brothers started their first flight attempts. This university is also named after the Wright brothers.

The College of the Western Ohio Educational Foundation, which opened in Celina in 1962 , has been part of Wright State University since 1969. About 1000 students study on the WSU campus in Celina, the Lake Campus near Grand Lake St. Marys .

Sports

Wright State University's sports teams are the Raiders . The university is a member of the Horizon League .
