Hannah Simone (born August 3, 1980 in London , England ) is a Canadian actress and former model .

life and career

Hannah Simone was born in London, but spent her childhood and youth in Canada , Saudi Arabia , Cyprus and India . She is of Indian origin on her father's side and of German-Italian and Greek-Cypriot origin on her mother's side. She has a brother. She attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and Ryerson University in Toronto . She also worked as a video jockey for MuchMusic in Canada from May 2006 to November 2008 . From 2011 to 2018 she played the role of Cecilia "Cece" Parekh in the sitcom New Girl .

In July 2016, Hannah Simone married TV presenter Jesse Giddings.
