The regular broadcast then began on January 10, 2013, where it ran on Comedy Thursday following Das Büro . reception
Loryn Pörschke from Serienjunkies describes the series as follows: “Anyone who makes friends with gags like armchairs flying out of the window will have fun with the 1600 Penn series . The actors do the rest to win over the audience. Still, you have to be aware that 1600 is in a different league than Modern Family and Veep . It's a feel-good family series where at the end of the day everyone stands up for each other and stands together - light entertainment to make you laugh with surprisingly little real political issues given the involvement of a former speechwriter for the US president. "
Remarks
Originally, Brittany Snow planned as an actress for the role of Becca, but it was Martha MacIsaac replaced. Bill Pullman , who played the president on the show, had already played the president in the movie Independence Day .
