Hanne Ørstavik
Hanne Cathrine Ørstavik (born November 28, 1969 in Tana , Finnmark Province ) is a Norwegian writer .
Life
Ørstavik moved to Oslo at the age of 16 . Her literary career began in 1994 with the publication of her novel Hakk (about: cuts). Her breakthrough was the novel Kjærlighet (Love) in 1997 (German edition 2017). In the following years she received a number of national awards and prizes for her work, including the Norwegian Brageprisen in 2004 for the novel Presten (The Pastor).
Hanne Ørstavik lives in Milan .
