Sultprisen
Sultprisen (Eng. The "Hunger" Prize ) is a Norwegian literary prize that has been awarded by the publishing house Gyldendal Norsk Forlag since 1998 . It is used to honor young, outstanding authors. It is named after the novel "Sult" (Eng. " Hunger ") by Knut Hamsun . "Hunger" is Hamsun's first novel, with which he made his literary breakthrough.
In 2019, the prize was endowed with 250,000 crowns (around 25,000 euros).
