Hannelore Brüning

Hannelore Brüning (born August 4, 1942 in Rheine ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1990 to 2010 .

Life

After graduating from primary school in 1957, Brüning did an apprenticeship in a textile company until 1960 and worked as a clerk until 1967 . In 1970 she opened an independent craft business with her husband , in which she worked until 2004. She and her husband have two children.

politics

In 1970 Hannelore Brüning joined the CDU and in 1979 she was elected to the council of the Neuenkirchen community for the first time , to which she belonged until 2004. From May 31, 1990 to June 8, 2010 she was also a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament. Her focus was on economic, transport and housing policy. In the 12th electoral period (1995 to 2000) she was chairwoman of the state parliament's committee for economy, medium-sized companies and technology.

Brüning was directly elected four times in a row in its constituency : 1990 and 1995 in constituency 95 (Steinfurt I - Coesfeld II), 2000 in constituency 95 ( Steinfurt I ) and 2005 in constituency 81 (Steinfurt I). To state election in 2010 it did not run more, her successor as the directly elected constituency MPs was Christina Schulze Föcking (CDU).

Hannelore Brüning was also deputy member of the WDR - Broadcasting Council and a member of the Employers' Association crafts NRW (later . Unternehmerverband crafts NRW eV ).
