Hannes Läubin

Hannes Läubin (* 1958 in Müllheim (Baden) ) is a German trumpeter and music teacher .

Life

Läubin had lessons from his father from the age of nine and was three times prizewinner at the national youth music competition . From 1971 to 1976 he was a member of the Federal Youth Orchestra and a student of Robert Bodenröder at the Freiburg University of Music.

In 1976 he became third trumpeter, two years later solo trumpeter with the NDR Symphony Orchestra . In 1992 he became professor at the Stuttgart University of Music , and in 1996 at the Munich University of Music . Since 1995 he has also played as a permanent assistant with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra . As a soloist he performed a. a. at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival , the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Quiberon Festival, the Venezuela Bach Academy and the Oregon Bach Festival.

Läubin's repertoire ranges from compositions from the Baroque period to works by contemporary composers. With the Gächinger Kantorei and the Bach-Collegium Stuttgart under Helmuth Rilling (to which he has been a member since 1982), the Windsbach Boys Choir under Karl-Friedrich Beringer , his two brothers Wolfgang and Bernhard Läubin , the organist Simon Preston , the pianist Lukas Maria Kuen and as He has recorded numerous CDs as conductor of the English Chamber Orchestra .
