Hannes Schöner (born June 24, 1953 in Cologne-Bickendorf as Johannes Schulte-Ontrop ) is a German singer and musician who had his biggest hit in 1982 with Nun say adieu .

In 1980, Schöner was a member of the 'Christopher John Band' alongside Claus-Robert Kruse, which published the title I'm a First Class Fool Again , written by Dieter Bohlen . This song was released in parallel as a summer night in our city under the stage name 'Hannes Beautiful' and could be in August in the German airplay - charts place. These two pieces are very popular with collectors.

With his single Nun say adieu, Schöner took part in the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1982, where he took third place. In June and July 1982 he appeared with this title in the ZDF hit parade . In the same year Harold Faltermeyer produced an LP with him for Ariola. In 1984, Schöner founded the formation 'Fair Control' with Bernd Göke , which published five English-language titles. Schöne produced this together with Peter Columbus. His last official solo single Maybe you will never be born , a German version of the Chris Norman hit Broken Heroes from the Schimanski - Tatort Broken Blossoms , he brought out in 1988.

Even during his career as a solo artist, Schöne composed songs for well-known performers, e. B. the Saragossa Band , Rex Gildo and The Lords . In the early nineties he worked as a producer for smaller labels (AZ Records, Rolling Promotion and others) for hit newcomers. In 1990 he became a member of the well-known Cologne mood band Höhner and later sang solo songs in Kölsch . He is still the bass player and singer with the Höhner and celebrates great success with the band.
