Hannes Schönfelder

Hannes Schönfelder (born January 28, 1945 in Görlitz ) is a German lawyer and was a judge at the Federal Fiscal Court from 2001 to 2010 .

Life

Before his judicial career, Hannes Schönfelder was a research assistant at the Institute for Business and Labor Law at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg for five years and joined the financial administration of the Free State of Bavaria in November 1979 . He worked in financial administration for six years before becoming a judge at the Nuremberg Finance Court . The activity as a judge in the financial jurisdiction was interrupted by the six and a half years as mayor of Feucht for the SPD . From 1996 until he was appointed judge at the Federal Fiscal Court on September 5, 2001, he was again a judge at the Nuremberg Finance Court. Schönfelder was a member of the Xth Senate of the Federal Fiscal Court, which deals with the income taxation of individual traders and pension taxation. On January 31, 2010, Hannes Schönfelder entered legal retirement.
