The Hanning Elektro-Werke GmbH & Co. KG is a German company in 1947 by Robert Hanning for the production of electric drives in Oerlinghausen (today Lippe ) was founded and is part of the international production network. This employs around 1,500 people worldwide.
history
The company was founded in 1947 by Robert Hanning as Elektrobau Hanning GmbH in Lipperreihe (then in the Lemgo district ). In 1977 the name was changed to Hanning Elektro-Werke GmbH & Co. KG. In 1980 the production and storage areas at the Oerlinghausen location were expanded considerably. After reunification, a production site was established in Eggesin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The following companies were founded as part of the international HANNING production network: In 1996, Hanning (Hong Kong) Ltd. with production in Shenzhen (PR China) and in 2004 the production site in Vilnius (Lithuania) under the name UAB Hanning Vilnius, in 2008 Hanning Motors India Pvt. Ltd. in Vadodara (India) and 2017 Hanning Motors Romania SRL in Oradea (Romania). In 2005, Düperthal Sicherheitstechnik was incorporated.
