Satu Kunnas (born September 3, 1977 in Helsinki ) is a former Finnish soccer player . Between 1996 and 2005 she was the goalkeeper for the Finnish national team .

Satu Kunnas started her career at NuPS Vihti . She later moved to HJK Helsinki , with whom she won the Finnish championship in 1995 . After yet for Finnish clubs FC Kontu Helsinki and AC Vantaa played, she moved in 2003 after Norway about the club Asker SK and a year later to IF Fløya . With both clubs she was third in the top series . In 2005 she returned to Finland and played for FC United Pietarsaari for another year before ending her career at the end of the year due to a knee injury. Before that, she had been elected Footballer of the Year in Finland.

She made her international debut on March 13, 1996 in an international match against Sweden . In total, she played 47 times for the Finnish national team. In 2005 she took part with the national team at the European Championship in England , where Finland reached the semi-finals.

Today Kunnas works as a police officer in Helsinki. Together with Antti Niemi , the long-time goalkeeper of the Finnish men's national team , Kunnas was appointed ambassador for the 2009 European Championships in Finland.
