Hanno Blaschke

Hanno Blaschke (born April 22, 1927 in Danzig ; † November 18, 2017 ) was a German singer ( baritone ) and professor of singing. Blaschke recently held a professorship for singing at the University of Music and Theater in Munich .

biography

Hanno Blaschke took private singing lessons with Kammersänger Robert Büssel in Dresden . There he witnessed the air raids on Dresden . He studied in Wroclaw , Warsaw and Sopot . He then worked as a concert singer and singing teacher and gained international renown. His particular inclination to promote young talent initially led him to Warsaw (assistant to Ada Sari ). In 1961 he began teaching at the University of Music in Munich , which appointed him full professor in 1975 . Until his retirement in 1992 he trained numerous singers who made international careers. Until his death, he was in demand as a master class director and as a juror around the world .
