Hanns-Dieter Jacobsen

Hanns-Dieter Jacobsen (born May 10, 1944 in Dobbertin ) is a German economist and political scientist .

Life

He worked as a university lecturer for the Free University of Berlin . There he became dean of the Otto Suhr Institute . From 1968 to 1989 he worked as an unofficial employee for the Ministry of State Security . In 1992 he was arrested; Jacobsen was released on bail. Jacobsen had been recruited by Enlightenment Headquarters as a student in 1968 . He was convicted of espionage; the sentence was suspended.
