Hanns Heidemanns

Hanns A. Heidemanns (born January 11, 1927 in Aachen ; † August 28, 2012 in Wassenberg ) was a German pharmacist and author. He served as a medical officer (pharmacist) in the rank of General Pharmacist last stage manager Military Pharmacy of the Bundeswehr in the Medical Office of the Bundeswehr at its Bonn . As an author, he published various publications on the local and contemporary history of Wassenberg.

biography

After graduating from the Kaiser-Karls-Gymnasium in Aachen , Heidemanns was called up for military service and after the Second World War he studied physics, several semesters food chemistry and pharmacy (license to practice medicine 1955). He completed his internship at the Hirsch Pharmacy in Wassenberg. For his services as a soldier he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class.

After active service in the German Armed Forces, Heidemanns and his family moved from Koblenz to the family's headquarters in Wassenberg. There he volunteered in several organizations, was a co-founder of the outpatient hospice initiative "Rainbow" and received honorary citizenship of the city.

Hanns Heidemanns died on August 28, 2012.
