Hannu-Pekka Björkman
Hannu-Pekka Juhani Björkman (born February 11, 1969 in Jyväskylä , Finland ) is a Finnish actor .
Life
Hannu-Pekka Juhani Björkman studied drama at Lahden kansanopisto from 1991 to 1992 . He then played in theater and in short films for several years before making his screen debut in a small supporting role in the drama The Return to the Province, directed by Ilkka Vanne , alongside Kari Väänänen and Samuli Edelmann .
For his performance in Jaakko Kari Paljakkas Drama Eläville yes kuolleille Björkman was founded in 2006 with the Finnish film award Jussi as Best Actor award. This was followed by a further nomination in 2010 for Haarautuvan rakkauden talo and a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Sergeant Muranen in Raja in 1918 .
Björkman was married to actress Minna Haapkylä from 2002 to 2014 and has two sons together. On the recommendation of Marja Packalén and Mika Myllyaho , he will start teaching at the Helsinki Theater Academy in 2013 .
