Hans-Dieter Steinmetz

Hans-Dieter Steinmetz (born May 24, 1951 in Greußen , Thuringia ) is a German author, publicist and Karl May researcher. He lives in Dresden .

Steinmetz worked as a safety engineer in Dresden. He is a founding member and since October 2013 Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of Karl-May-Haus Hohenstein-Ernstthal . Since 1974 he has published technical articles in publications of the Karl May Society , the Karl May Verlag , the Karl May House Hohenstein-Ernstthal as well as in magazines and daily newspapers.
